Dr Pradeep MANDAPAKA
Postdoctoral Researcher of Understanding Interdependencies
Pradeep is a postdoctoral researcher in Understanding Interdependencies module of the Future Resilient Systems (FRS) programme, working on different approaches to assess the growth and evolution of cities. Before joining FRS, he was a postdoctoral scientist in the Federal Office of Meteorology and Climatology Switzerland, and Earth Observatory of Singapore at the Nanyang Technological University.
He received his PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Iowa, USA, and Masters in Satellite Technology and Applications from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. His research interests include hydrometeorology, urbanisation and climate change impacts, extreme value analysis and modelling, and risk assessment.
